Yup this is the examination i started to study for but gave up as i started too late. I still wish that i had known of it earlier Oh well …
IIT-JEE (Indian Institute of Technology - Joint Enterance Examination) held their screening test on 10th of april and its results came out a few days back. And it was yesterday that i found out that none of my 3 friends that were studying actually qualified I was expecting that atleast two of them would get through the screening then about the mains (main examination where only 20,000 of the students are allowed. The initial applicants are approx. 7 lakh {0.7 Million} Of which only 7000 will be selected after the mains. It is a national examination and the toughest in our country. People start studying for this exam 2 years before the actual examination :|) nothing could be said …
sigh … next up for me is my BITSAT (Actually BITS-SAT) (Birla Institute of Technological Sciences - Standart Aptitude Test) which is also very tough. Its an online exam so the date that i got or rather i selected is the 6th of may. After that is the AIEEE (All India Engineering Enterance Examination) (National exam as well … for all state colleges) (State colleges r colleges which r like capitals of the state but wrt engineering colleges) on the 8th followed by the MH-CET (Maharastra - Common Enterance Test) which will probably be on 12th (Hall ticket aint here yet. No one in the state has got it and the exact date isnt announced. This is the 1st ever full scale examintaion for the state so its a bit dodgy :P)
