BITSAT is done

under Academics on May 7th, 2005 at 10:53 am

Yup last nite … well acutally evening (4.30 pm to 7.30 pm) i gave my bitsat exam. I scored 178 by attempting 122 question of which i got 75 right and 47 wrong.
The sad bit is that i needed 180 marks to qualify for the interview :( Oh well there is always another way and im lead to believe that what ever happens … happens for a reason :D
And oh btw … with the 40 odd students that gave exam with me only 1 gal (sitting behing my partner) got more than me (her score was 183) and even she had less attempts and less correct answers than me :P And oh btw … if u didnt read my other post … the bitsat exam was an online one that is taken on the pc over a course of 2 months (Apr 10 to June 10) and each day there are 3 batches with 40 students … so if u remove the week ends and do the math … :P
Next up is the AIEEE on sunday at 9.30 In the morning :| Its a loooong exam. 450 marks Physics and Chemistry :P And 150 for maths … They have a +3 (correct answer), 0 (Not attempted) and -1 (wrong answer) system :P
Wish me luck ;)

Tbh BITSAT was quite easy …. easier than expected. Just like the AIEEE its easy if you know your basics well. Be prepared with your complex numbers, friction and other such topics from Standard XI. You know your basics thats half the battle won ;)

As for AIEEE physics is quite easy and chem was semi tough (since i have always been good at physics and not so good at chem) …. maths was as always and shall forever be imo quite tough. The maths papers are always the toughest out of the three. Be prepared.
Thats the best advice i can give you at this point and time ;)
