New Keyboard

under General Stuff on February 11th, 2006 at 10:32 pm

Finally i got a new keyboard. No more using that on-screen one. I was tired of using it :-/ Over 24 hours and over 70,000 clicks :blah:

Anyways the new one is a black coloured one from TVS. I got it for Rs 350 (6.62 Euro’s or 7.92 US Dollars). I wanted a white one to match my pc but id have to wait till monday for the shop to open. (My pc technician had an extra keyboard he had bought for a client to be delivered on monday evening …. i just picked it up :P)

Now my dad is going to force me to put those protective covers which are black in colour cause i was protesting that the keyboard wont match. He didnt care cause you use the pc not look at it …. :-/

Anyways this new keyboard isnt a multimedia one but is pretty good ;) Gamming keyboards and all other fancy ones are pretty costly :P

Here is a quick pic of my keyboard. (Man this new upload function seems good :D)

[...] Posted by John Anderton on 27 Aug 2006 at 03:03 am | Tagged as: General Stuff The story begins 6 months and 16 days ago when i got a New Keyboard. I must confess, i have been wanting to make my keyboard a DAS Keyboard like segosa did ever since i got this cheap keyboard. The opportunity came up a few days back when i got a free Maple keyboard meaning that my keyboard was now redundant. Thus taking this opportunity i consumed an entire satrurday night to do this. I experimented with different ways and found that the sand paper should be really good. I just stuck with a metallic blade used to cut thermocol sheets and removed all the paint marks, being careful not to leave marks though. [...]
