Academic Lamerism

This is how i’d define ‘Academic Lamerism’.

Having a huge examination in 25 days a student wastes 21 of these days and starts studies 4 days prior to the examination and yet expects good results.

The sad part is after doing this such people get away with it every single time. I dont know how. They manage to clear their exams and score “decent” marks. Amazing isnt it. Well it is to me. I seriously dont like it. Yet there is nothing i can do to prevent it.

When such people try to come out the the public no one believes them due to their “decent” results

Yes i am an Academic Lamer. I’ve been one my entire life. But over the past year it has escalated to new heights. I keep wondering if i can get these results by studying the day before the exam (literally) then what i could achieve if i put more effort into studies like normal students. I guess i just dont consider myself normal anymore … See ya on the 5th of June after my exams ;)

[...] There are only 2 better solutions feasible than this result. I could have either topped my college or got 77% meaning an aggregate distinction. My expectation (distinction) was dead on. I am the first to admit when i am wrong as this time i havent studied at all as usual (hence the Academic Lamerism post). Feels good to get the marks estimated. I had no expectations since i saw the slaughter of the lambs in Sem 1. [...]

[...] This means that sem 5 is on my door step now. Starting this Monday, I’ll be back in class doing another 6 subjects and not to mention 2 classes. Haven’t done that since sem 1 so it should be a nice experience, getting my hands dirty and all. I think I needed that with all my laziness. [...]
