Ubuntu dualboot

under General Stuff on August 20th, 2006 at 12:44 pm

As everytime ive given up studies and everything is seeming quite tough. But keeping up with my ‘academic lamerism’ im worried about it and yet not doing anything. Infact i was bored last night and i cleared my D drive and made my self a WinXP/Ubuntu dual boot :D

All i need to do now is update my ubuntu and a few apps on it and ill be ready. Ill post pics and stuff tho im still angry about the fact that i cant play mp3’s since i dont have the appropriate decoder. I think it will play FLAC but i dont have any of my music in that form. Bleh, ill probably download a decoder or download the latest ubuntu and install it (the latter should probably have support)

Anyhow, if you have any suggestions of what i can do to kill more of the “free” time created by not studying by doing something on ubuntu then let me know :)

Hey there :-) I’m the guy from last.fm, I got your rss sindication right onto my Windows Vista Sidebar and saw this post.

I used to have Linux Ubuntu a while ago, so I remember that it wasn’t easy to find out how to play mp3 for me either :)

So here I have a link for you, hope it’s useful!!https://help.ubuntu.com/community/RestrictedFormats/MP3
