For an academic and social update, i have beem really busy in the past week with my drawing classes and i have already given one test I have gotten an invite to use (only) wlm. I wanted to test it Using it is of no use tbh. I cant be of any help to the microsoft’s messaging department
Anyways i got my c++ book so ill start studies on that and my drawing asap (yes im a lazy ass lamer who doesnt study when the teachers teach me …. no wonder i cant top my classes :dodgy:)

Btw, Sid returned my DBZ cd after 2 years May this be a reminder, never to give him such cds again

Well this is my last day of leave. From tomorow my engineering drawing class begins. So i am on a game spree.

I have suddenly fallen in love (back it love actually :P) with action games. I got Counter Strike (Retail version), Freedom Fighters and Global Operations. I am gonna get a few more as soon as i can goto the shop and get a few blank cd’s to free up my re-writable cd.

I get all the games written on my CD-RW so i can check em out. If i like them then i make a hard copy. I dont want to waste 15-20 bucks if the game isnt good or doesnt run that well on my retard pc (i would now like to appologise to my pc for calling it retarded Actually it doesnt run the latest games. Its performance is ok. If i dont appologise then it gets angry and crashes when im programming a few days/weeks prior to my examination/submission AI indeed :P)

I just got my cd writer a few weeks back as you may know and there is an update to nero out already so i downloaded it. It was a freaking 100 mb file but eh ….. nero 7 is worth it. It has everything you may need. Seriously. Though im not going to use it all, i will use most of it and so i installed it.

I started the download at 6.05 pm and it ended at 12 midnight exactly

Windows OneCare Live is the new service that microsoft is launching. It is currently in its beta stage but you can get your hands on a trial (Beware: Its an online install). So far it looks like a good service. For extended use, you need to buy a subscription

I have included 2 screenshots and i will add anymore if i feel they are necessary Atm it is doing a complete defragmentation of my pc and later it will check for updates. The additional features that your windows xp sp2 already doesnt have its the WOCL antivirus which i still need to run a few tests on Also i think the firewall is an upgraded version (cause sp2 was released some time back and the updates may do only that much. And plus i dont think that you have to pay money just to get an antivirus and a central system to handle all your security. I already have Zone Alarm Security Suite for that Plus ZASS is only about 23 mb while WOCL is bigger. Then again for an update, WOCL will download only the required files while you need to download the entire 23 some mb installation file for ZASS

In summing up this is a good app for you if you can spend the money and if you have a high end pc. In general this is yet another “memory whore” application brought to you by the friendly programmers at microsoft

It was released on 28th November. I have already downloaded the approx 9 mb package file. The server was still a bit slow due to a heavy rush but i got my copy of WB5 Enhanced. The version number is 5.00 build 49 x86.

The changes from the beta that i was using are that this loads properly without any errors (even though i have had only one reboot so far since the install i am confident that this will be fixed cause this was a huge problem

Also the 2 things that have visibly changed are the fact that the WB5 icon resides in your system tray and that it has a tool tip added to tell you everytime how to apply the theme

Also this being the full version has quite a lot of themes included though the file size hasnt bloated up wrt their earlier beta (*looks at microsoft’s wlm team :rolleyes:)

Now im off to wincustomise to get my hands on some themes …. i saw a good looking xbox themes …. lets see what else i can get my hands on

Yup my craze for DBZ is back. I know if i wait for another month till my exams are over i can goto my cousins place and get the 15 - 20 cd collection of dbz written. But i cant wait
So im downloading a few cool episodes. Each episode is about 50 - 60 mb. But the seeding thingy in the torrent sucks cause the downloads dont start

And btw, i told 4 of my friends about me getting the whole 15 - 20 cd collection of all dbz episodes, and all of them are waiting in line for it

I got a some more hardware that i needed viz a viz a new HP Deskjet 3940 and a Samsung Octoedge 52x-32x-52x cd writter.

I printed my first page and burned my first music disc (on my re-writable) and they are working well ….. w00t …

Btw by today i mean 14th of november 2005 (as its past midnight when im writting this ;))

I have one weeks leave for my Diwali so i plan on finishing my entire studies in these 8 days (Sunday to sunday).

Yeah i mean it …. never sleep on a train ride back home when you are alone …. cause i just missed my stop and i woke up half an hour later and found my self on a stop called dockyard road which is about 30 mins from my place I had to catch a return train and guess what i was doing on the way back

Anyways …. it was a nice experience i guess
Pre-mid-vacation week is going good with all the submissions. I cant solve 2 sums of my assignment submission tomorrow but its ok cause i dont think most people have solved even have of it …. so im safe …. ill do it in college before the recess
Ok then good nite …. its 1.42 am already …. ill make it a point not to sleep in the train tomorrow

Yeah i saw that i had written only 9 posts last month and only 4 this month so i just thought that id just make a few posts. I am not posting regularly cause i work 19 hours a day and still i have work overdue

So im really working my ass off. Sleeping at 2 am everynite and getting up at 6 to goto uni and study later isnt as easy as it seems but its ok. Im doing quite well i guess. Anyways lets see wassup now a days …

A mechanics assignment due on friday (which is so bad that i cant solve 2 questions and 2 answers dont match the ones provided by the professor for cross checking)
