Its been almost a year since I coded j@x. Way too long. Its been a minimalistic piece of code for long enough. Time to add a bit more functionality but not at the cost of speed. I’m starting to add more features from today and you should see the changes in the next few days.

The changes (publically viewable) include:

* More bbcode to work with.
* A non-geek theme with theme switcher.
* Better post box.
* Use of cookies for user recognisation for comments.

Internal changes that are planned include a real administrator panel and on the fly editing of posts/comments. May be even a registration system for users who want to leave comments so that they could have email updates or update their own comments (only comments added after registration would be editable :P)

It starts with me installing PHP and MySQL on IIS 7 (Vista) to work then to move it on to the server.

This should keep me busy for a few days I guess And oh, I need to study!

Exams are finally over. 3 good papers and 3 bad ones. Don’t know what the future holds academically so I’ve decided to re-prioritize my activities for the next semester. Anyway, the holidays are here This is what’s been up for so long.

I completed my work on j@x and I also did a script called Uptime Challenge for the Messenger Plus! Scripting Competition. Work on my project for the AXIS will begin soon and in the mean while I got an early Christmas present. Its something that I desperately needed. A new keyboard. Its hot! I love the customisable multimedia keys. I can launch Winamp, edit its play list, jump tracks, launch PCTV and do anything I want with this. Its really cool I just got it today. All I need now is a good mouse but the ones I have my eyes on are too costly. So I’m not buying anything. That’s my PC shopping pretty much for a year or so at least

Just done with my exams. So much to do i dont have time to talk.

Engineering Mechanics - Awesome
Basics In Electrical And Electronics - Good (I guess but i wont score extremely high marks :sad:)
Computer Programming - Scoring Full Prolly (The f***ing examiner didnt allow me to write a 1 mark question at the end even tho 2 mins were left. Bitch !!! It was only a 3 line answer. I required 15 secs Bah i wrote the other 119 marks perfectly :cheesy:)

Its just a small collection of online games that i like. I have just seen them here and there. Just play them for fun and enjoy them. My favorite atm is Curveball. Read the stuff there and just enjoy.

Grungation is the name that i have given to my new theme. I started to make a theme from scratch like dt did today by basing it on a oswd template. Well i gave up soon enough. But i got into this themed venture. I was helped my Lee to edit the header pic. Anyways i did a bit modding. Only bit left is the part where i have to either add an image gallery for the cool random picture thumb or should i remove them and add the pages function there ??

Anyways thats about it for now. I was sick today so i didnt goto uni. I’ll go tommorow cause i have CP pracs. I have already completed 8 - 9 pracs in 2 weeks

Ok a few more updates. Quite a few version bumps …. cause all the updates came within about an hour or so.
and, and are the new emotes. Other than that, its a technical update cause i had to update the readme to give credits and all

(I know its just been 2 mins from the last update but c’mon … DZ was the inspiration behind adding the pound emote :grin:)

Now i need to figure out how to make a dynamic emote page so that users can use all the emotes tho the users of the Messenger Plus! forums shouldnt have a problem
