AIEEE format needs improvement

Academics May 5th, 2008

CBSE (according to wiki) is the group who manages the AIEEE examination. For those of who you don’t know, AIEEE is a national level examination for students who wish to enroll themselves in the prestigious NITs. The AIEEE is held around the last few days of April or usually the first odd week of May with the AIEEE results coming out online around the first week of July every year and the paper based result should follow in a month or so.

Ever since I gave my AIEEE examination back in 2005, I’ve had thousands of hits and a few hundred comments and a similar number of emails every year asking me about why their i-card’s aren’t here or why they haven’t received their results yet. Around six to nine hundred thousand students give the exam every year and I know how hard it is to manage such a large number of people for the exam but the whole thing about students having to go to different states and as far away as the Andaman and Nicobar Islands to give their AIEEE exams is just crazy and unacceptable.

I wish they’d have a better way to do the necessary tasks. I sure hope they do send the paper based results in time to students. Hopefully the AIEEE results will get to everyone before their admission process starts :)

I think I should take an active roll in providing AIEEE students with information like what they should do when students don’t have their AIEEE i-cards or their paper based AIEEE results. Its obvious that the AIEEE results are first announced officially on the AIEEE website which is http://aieee.nic.in/ :)

Be it doubts about AIEEE i-cards, AIEEE examination, AIEEE results, AIEEE admission patterns, AIEEE admission cut off lists AIEEE councelling or AIEEE admissions, I’ll try to help. If anyone has doubts, please be sure to leave a comment and your email (in the box provided for the email). I’ll try my best to send you a reply asap.

I’m already pretty high if you search for things like AIEEE results on google. A bit more and I could show up well on further AIEEE results so that should help :)

AIEEE Results Are Out

Academics June 1st, 2005

Yup you heard rite. The results can be seen on the official AIEEE website Ya I did see my results and as i had said in my post “AIEEE Sucks” the paper wasn’t so good and here are the results..
I got a rank of something like 4 thousand and i ain’t eligible for counseling ie for going to the colleges and giving interviews and taking part in GD’s which is the next step of admissions.
The next results are on the 7th which are my HSC (standard 12) results followed by the big one … my CET results which are probably on the 14th … lets see how it goes :)

EDIT: This post was written back in 2005. Results come out around last week of May or first week of June. Cut off depends on percentile. Depends on how well your peers did. Its all down to the ranks, not the marks. That’s how all competitive exams work. Be patient. Results will come soon.

Try reading the comments below. Some users have taken the time to write useful information for helping others. I really appreciate it. I suggest you read them. Maybe you will find something useful. If you don’t, ask me and I’ll help you if I can :)

Please people, don’t leave your personal details here. An email is quite sufficient. I usually tend to edit out physical addresses and phone numbers people write down here but I can’t guarantee that this will always be done. I could miss out on a few here and there and in case that happens, you are responsible for putting your own details up here.. By submitting such things here, you are the one responsible for them.
Again, I’d like to say, emails are kept private so in case you want me to reply to something, please leave your email behind and I’ll get in touch with you :)
